Every business has a starting point. Ours just happens to be in the basement.
Like a lot of small businesses, we didn’t begin with a warehouse, a storefront, or a big launch plan. We started with an idea, a few tools, late nights, and a space in our home where we could build something from scratch.
The Idea
We wanted to create products that people would actually enjoy wearing — items that feel personal, fun, and a little different from what you find everywhere else. Instead of waiting for the “perfect time,” we decided to just start.
No massive investment. No elaborate setup.
Just action.
Turning a Basement Into a Workshop
Our basement quickly became command central. Tables turned into workstations. Boxes started stacking up. Tools, materials, and early product samples slowly replaced what used to be empty space.
Every order, every design adjustment, and every packaging decision happens right here.
It’s not glamorous — and that’s exactly what makes it meaningful.
This space represents experimentation, learning, and progress. Some nights we’re testing designs. Other nights we’re packing orders or figuring out how to make the next product better than the last.
Learning as We Go
Launching a store isn’t just about selling products. It’s about learning an entirely new set of skills:
-
Designing products people love
-
Building an online store from scratch
-
Photography and product presentation
-
Packaging and shipping logistics
-
Marketing and storytelling
Some things worked immediately. Others definitely didn’t. But every mistake has helped us improve faster.
Why We’re Sharing the Journey
We want customers to see the real story behind the products.
When you support our store, you’re not buying from a massive company — you’re supporting a small, growing business built by real people figuring it out step by step.
Every order helps us reinvest, improve, and keep building.
What Comes Next
Right now, everything starts in the basement. But our goal is simple: keep growing, keep improving, and keep creating products we’re proud of.
We’re excited to share the journey with you — including the wins, the lessons, and the behind-the-scenes moments along the way.
And yes, we’ll keep sharing photos as the space (and the business) evolves.
Thanks for being part of the beginning.
